I had always wanted to visit the Path of the Gods Trailhead in Agerola, and choosing to stay at Agriturismo Il Pettirosso Villa was the perfect decision. In addition to its convenient location near the trailhead, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary babysitting services provided by the country house. The fact that they also offered complimentary wireless Internet access was a great added bonus. I particularly enjoyed indulging in the delicious local cuisine at their onsite restaurant.
The only downside of my experience was that Agriturismo Il Pettirosso Villa is located quite far away from popular tourist destinations like Positano, Pompeii, Amalfi, and Sorrento. The road leading to these locations is narrow with many twists, making it a journey of over an hour by car.

Loved the private bathroom with a bidet and shower, it had everything I needed, including a hair dryer. So convenient! The classic-style room was cozy and had a balcony with amazing panoramic views of the garden. It was such a treat to wake up to that view every morning. The private bathroom in the room was a great bonus, complete with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Super convenient!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the free Wi-Fi in the room. It was a bit spotty for me, but I know others might still find it sufficient.

The Agriturismo Il Pettirosso in Agerola offers a unique experience for those wanting to be close to nature. the rooms are basic but comfortable with a lovely balcony and spacious shower. the location is quiet and peaceful with birdsong in the morning. It is just a short hike away from the start of the famous Path of the Gods. the hosts, Paulo and Giuseppe, are incredibly friendly and accommodating. the food is a highlight, with substantial breakfasts and delicious four-course lunches or dinners available for just 20 euros per person. the homemade pasta, prosciutto, cheese, and zucchini are a must-try, and the homemade red wine is a delight.
Felt very much at home, no reason to complain.

The location is a bit inconvenient, with narrow and curvy streets to drive on, but you get used to it after a couple of days. The views from the property are breathtaking, with beautiful mountains overlooking the countryside. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with spotless bathrooms and a relaxing ambiance.
The dinner options could have been more varied, as some guests mentioned having the same dishes repeatedly.

We had a fantastic stay at Il Pettirosso for 5 days. The family who owns the property is incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us. The homemade Italian food and wine were absolutely divine. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful hikes on the Amalfi coast, especially the Path of the Gods. The tourist center is just a 7-minute walk away and they were able to assist us with all our needs. We loved every moment of our stay here.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The room at Agriturismo Il Pettirosso was super cozy and had a classic feel to it. The private bathroom was a total game-changer, with a bidet and a shower that had excellent water pressure. You won't believe it, but they even provided a hair dryer! Plus, the balcony had such amazing panoramic views of the garden. And the cherry on top was the free Wi-Fi, which was a lifesaver for me. as someone with disabilities, I felt completely at ease and comfortable in this room.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the bidet in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just my own personal taste.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Agriturismo Il Pettirosso. Emilio and Sabrina's eagerness to ensure we had an incredible stay was beautiful. The top floor two-bedroom suite was cosy and had a good-sized bathroom. We had exclusive access to the shared rumpus area which included a retreat for the kids and amazing balcony views. Emilio went above and beyond to accommodate our breakfast preferences, even sourcing vegan options. The homemade pasta in the restaurant was absolutely divine.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
